About Us

The University of Alberta Mixed Chorus (UAMC), founded in 1944, brings together music-loving students, alumni, faculty, and Edmonton community members to share choral music. Under the direction of Dr. Adam Robertson, our diverse repertoire spans Renaissance pieces, Broadway medleys, and global folk songs.

We hold auditions during the Week of Welcome and rehearse Monday and Wednesday evenings. Annual highlights include the “Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols,” a Spring Concert at the Francis Winspear Centre, and a Spring tour to share our music across Canadian communities.
